My one word for 2013 is..... What is a journey? What is the journey that I am on? What is the journey you are on?   Journey -    The act of traveling from one place to another; a trip.   A distance to be traveled or the time required for a trip   A process or course likened to traveling; a passage   My scripture to guide me on this journey -   [But] I don’t care about my own life [consider my life worth anything]. The most important thing [or My only goal] is that I complete [finish] my mission [task, course, race], the work [ministry; service] that the Lord Jesus gave me [ I received from the Lord Jesus] -to tell people [testify/witness to] the Good News [Gospel] about God’s grace. www.sdwsc.com Yesterday I attended a teaching seminar. One of the speakers was Elisa Morgan, former president of  MOPS and currently editor of the online magazine for women called Fulfill. The seminar was based on her book, "She Did What She Could" based on Mark 14:1-8 After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death . New Year's Goals

  The New Year brings about New Year goals.   I have several goals for 2013.   Here they are: Read the entire Bible using the ESV One Year Bible . Journal my discoveries using the something old, something new, and something to do format . Do 3 Bible studies. The first one is The Fine Art of Female Friendships . Memorize Scripture with the 2013 Siesta Bible Memory Team . Spiritual journey of discovery of who I am in relationship to God and others. Spend more time connecting with family and friends. Read two new  books per month and blog about it. Try one new recipe per week and blog about it. Keep my house more organized. I am a slob and I need to come clean . LOL.
