Meeting Family Needs No Matter the Season

Scripture:
Proverbs 31:21
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.KJV
When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. NIV

Her careful preparation of necessary clothing in advance means that she is not afraid of sudden changes in weather, for they will not catch her unprepared.

Wesley's Notes ~
 Not afraid - Of any injuries of the weather. Are clothed - She hath provided enough, not only for their necessity, but also for their delight and ornament.

The Lutheran Study Bible ~
Due to her industriousness and shrewdness, she clothes her family with the highest quality and most expensive clothes.

Application:
The Proverbs 31 Woman makes sure her family has what they need to meet any circumstance in any season. She sees what is needed and acquires the necessary items. So whether she grows her own food and makes her own clothes or she goes to the grocery or clothing store, she is seeing to the needs of her family. Like the saying goes, there is more than one way to skin a cat (there's always more than one way of achieving a goal).

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to be prepared to meet my families needs - physically, emotionally, spiritually. In Jesus name, amen.
