John 13:3 Jesus relationship with His Father meant everything to Him. Jesus came to do the will of the Father [John 6:38]. He only did what the Father instructed [John 14:31]. He came to convey the love of the Father to us [John 15:9]. Everything the Father has belongs to Jesus, too [John 16:15]. Our relationship to the Father should also mean everything to us. We really don't know who King Lemuel was or where he was king. From the ESV Study Bible - "Most suppose that he was not an Israelite (which is consistent with the fact that the words for son in 31:2 and kings in v. 3b have Aramaic spellings, and with the absence of the special name Yahweh, the covenant God of Israel, from any of the sayings).
