French Onion Chicken

This chicken dish is very flavorful. It is easy to make. I usually make enough for left overs.

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes to 1 hour in oven on 400 degrees
Serves 4-6
Cost: $15

Ingredients:
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 pkg of French's Onions (6 oz)
3 eggs
Salt and Pepper to season
Italian seasoning (if desired)

Directions:
1. Line cooking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray
2. Wash and trim fat off chicken
3. Take the French's Onions out of the container
and put them in a one quart baggie.
4. Pound onions until they are about bread crumb consistency
5. Empty onions into a bowl
6. Beat 3 eggs in a bowl.
7. Place each chicken breast separately into the egg batter.
8. Dip each chicken breast separately into the onions and
cover completely (Before covering sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle Italian seasoning if desired.)
9. Place chicken on baking sheet and cover with foil.

Serve with veggies (I use frozen Oriental Stir Fry vegetables)
and rice.

Enjoy!! If you try this recipe, please let me know how it turned out.
