Creamy Cooker Chicken

I love crock pot cooking! Making delicious homemade meals are easy when using a crock pot. I love the Fix It and Forget It Cookbook. It gives a variety of recipes. It has recipes from appetizers to beverages.

I wanted to share my trusty turn to recipe when I am short on time. It is the Creamy Cooker Recipe on page 171. I've modified it a little. Below is the recipe I use.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 4 - 4 1/2 hrs on high in crock pot
Serves: 4-6 people
Cost: $10-$12

Ingredients:
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
2 cans cream of chicken soup
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

Directions:
1. Spray crock pot with non-stick spray
2. Combine dry soup mix and soup in the bottom of crock pot
3. Add chicken, pushing it down into the sauce so it is covered with sauce
4. Cover. Cook on high for 4 - 4 1/2 hours

Serve over rice and vegetables.

Enjoy!! If you try this recipe, please let me know how it turned out.
