Tater Tot Casserole - Easy Shepherd's Pie
I first heard of tater tot casserole while watching "19 Kids and Counting". This is one of the Duggar family's favorite recipes. I make this dish in the oven and in the crock pot. It is a quick and easy dish to make. Most people have these ingredients already on hand.

Cook time: 3 hours on low (crock pot) or 1 hour if using oven

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 cans of corn
32 ounces frozen tater tots
2 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 packet dried onion soup mix
1/4 cup 1% milk
(optional) Mexican shredded cheese
Directions:
1. Brown meat, drain and set aside
2. Spray crockpot with cooking spray
3. Empty the entire bag of frozen tater tots into the crockpot
4. Drain cans of corn and place corn over the tater tots
5. Mix the hamburger, cream of mushroom soup, milk,
and died onion soup packet in a large bowl.
6. Place hamburger mixture over the corn
(if using the option of shredded cheese, sprinkle cheese over entire dish)
7. Cover crockpot. Cook on high for 3 hours.
If using oven, use a 9 x13 pan, cover and cook for one hour.
Serve with salad. Make your favorite dessert to complete the meal.
