A Book Review of The One Year Holy Land Moments

My opinion: This devotional is not like other devotionals. It is not dated so one can start reading anywhere in the book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is an Old Testament portion which was written by Rabbi Eckstein, the founder and president of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews . These devotional segments were enlightening to me because I am interested in the Judaic background of the Christian faith. Rabbi Eckstein covers portions of the Old Testament and the major holy days of the Jewish calendar. The New Testament portion was written by Dr. Tremper Langman III, a professor of Biblical Studies as Westmont College . Dr. Langman expounds on Rabbi Eckstein's portion and shows how these same thoughts are reflected in the New T
