Let the words of mouth....my actions....who I really am....line up!!

 
 

Scripture: Isaiah 29:13 NIV 1984
The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men."

Observation:
1. The peoples' words say they are following God
2. But who they really are is far away from Him
3. The external has become more important than the internal.

Application:
A believer's words, actions, and who they are inside must all match. My words are a reflection of my heart. Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks [Matthew 12:34].

Prayer:
Father, help me to be genuine in all that I am. I want my words, actions and who I am as a person to all match. I don't want to be hypocritical in any area of my life. In Jesus name, amen.
