Ephesians 3:1-3
Okay, this week I am back on track for the actual week we are focusing on.
Today is Day #1 of Week #4 - Ephesians 3:1-3
Ephesians 3 Audio KJV - http://www.biblegateway.com/audio/mclean/kjv/Eph.3
Scripture: For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, KJV
Observation: Paul explains that he is a prisoner not of the Roman government but a prisoner of Christ. The purpose of his imprisonment was for the Gentiles. He goes on to explain the ministry he received from Christ was by the grace of God. He revealed to Paul the fullness of the mystery which had been hidden.
Application: Even though he was under arrest, Paul maintained his firm belief that God was in control of all that happened to him. Do circumstances ever make you wonder if God has lost control of this world? Like Paul, remember that no matter what happens, God directs the world's affairs [ NLT Life Application Bible notes]
Instead of a prayer I'd like to share a song which inspires me to remember that God commands my destiny.
